Is number 13 still unlucky for UK homeowners?

It’s Halloween! Time to light the pumpkins, put on a scary film and then blow out the pumpkin again and ignore the door after 9pm. Hurrah!

At this time of year, superstitions will be at an all-time high and one of the most recognised is our uneasiness around the number 13.

Supposedly an unlucky number, having a property tarnished with 13 has long been a reason for lower asking prices and has even seen some big housebuilders remove it completely from their new build developments.
