Phil White, Non-Executive Chairman of Lookers, commented:

“It is with great sadness that I am stepping down as planned from my role with Lookers, after 15 years with the business. I am pleased that we have overcome our recent challenges and am proud of the overall progress we have made. I believe that Lookers is a highly resilient business with an incredible team of people who, under Ian’s stewardship, are well placed to achieve great things. I wish all of my colleagues all the very best for the future.”

Mark Raban, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“Phil has been a rock for Lookers throughout his tenure with the business and will be greatly missed. I would like to thank him personally for his guidance and support since I joined two years ago. During this time he has continued to show his unrelenting commitment and passion for Lookers. The Board is delighted to welcome Ian who brings excellent experience and will no doubt help us build on the current momentum in the business.”

Ian Bull, Chairman Designate, commented:

“It is a great honour to be taking the reins from Phil as Chairman. Lookers is a business with much to look forward to in an industry that is undergoing fundamental and exciting changes. I look forward to engaging with the full team and getting underway as the business pursues its growth strategy.”
