Touchstone’s Primera Oil and Gas bid to explore South Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago’s energy ministry plans to launch the competitive bid round for shallow water acreage this quarter.

Minister Stuart Young made the announcement at the closing ceremony for the onshore and nearshore round.

The government opened nomination for 23 shallow water blocks last year.

The bidders are A&V Oil and Gas, Challenger Energy Group, Decker Petroleum Marketing, Eco Oil and Gas Solutions, Hunter Resources, Nabi Construction, Primera Oil and Gas, and Trinity Exploration and Production.

Touchstone Exploration Inc (LON:TXP) is a Canadian-based, international upstream oil and gas company currently active in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Primera Oil and Gas is the Trinidadian subsidiary of Touchstone.
