Choose the right materials
One of the first decisions you have to make when designing car interiors is what materials to use. You want to choose materials that are resistant to stains, spills, dirt, and wear and tear, but also that are soft, smooth, and breathable. Some of the most popular materials for car interiors are leather, vinyl, fabric, and synthetic fibers, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, leather is luxurious and durable, but it requires regular maintenance and can crack or fade over time. Vinyl is cheaper and easier to clean, but it can be sticky and hot in warm weather. Fabric is cozy and customizable, but it can absorb odors and liquids and be hard to remove. Synthetic fibers are versatile and eco-friendly, but they can be prone to pilling and fading.
