Pensana reports enriched rare earths findings in Angola

UK-based rare earths developer Pensana has reported trench and pit sampling results that confirm a 6 ha, enriched laterite at Sulima West, in Angola, grading at 2% to 3% total rare earth oxides (TREO).

These analytical results were derived from three trenches and nine pits sampled at the Sulima West laterite late last year.

The Sulima West laterite is located 75 km north of the company’s Longonjo rare earths project and test work programmes are designed to test for the amenability of this mineralisation to be processed at Longonjo.

Sampling of three additional historic trenches totalling 206 m averaged 1.8% TREO.

Pensana plc (LON:PRE) explores and mines neodymium, praseodymium, and rare earth minerals. The Company’s flagship assets are the Saltend rare earth refinery project in the United Kingdom and Longonjo neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr) Project in Angola.
