UK SMEs gear up for a thriving 2025 with bold growth plans

British small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are heading into 2025 with confidence, resilience, and a strong belief in their growth potential. Over two-thirds of SME leaders expect revenue growth, with an impressive 71% forecasting higher turnover. This confidence extends to job creation, as more than half of businesses plan to expand their workforce. The outlook isn’t just short-term—85% of SME leaders believe their businesses will grow over the next five years. Even in the face of economic uncertainties, 51% remain optimistic about the broader national economy, demonstrating a strategic and forward-thinking approach to business.
