Bushtec, an experienced African team, has successfully completed the assembly of accommodation facilities designed to house 350 contractors. These facilities include dining areas, kitchens, ablutions, and a communications hub, all constructed to meet international standards. The camp’s establishment follows the installation of essential site infrastructure, such as effluent lines and power distribution, which were also completed recently.
Bushtec is renowned for its expertise in providing turnkey military and mining camps, as well as medical field systems. The company excels in the design, manufacture, and delivery of high-quality, integrated deployable camp systems.
Tim George, CEO of Pensana, highlighted the significance of this development, noting that the construction camp’s completion marks a crucial milestone in advancing the Longonjo project. Under the leadership of Luigi Bruno, the team has made substantial progress in preparing the site and installing the necessary infrastructure, setting the stage for the main construction phase.
Additionally, the site has received and installed further key infrastructure, including water and waste tanks, to support ongoing operations.
This completed camp is a pivotal step towards ensuring the project’s smooth transition into its next, more intensive phase.
