Alien Metals announced a series of exciting updates and plans for its Pinderi Hills and Hancock Iron Ore Projects in Western Australia. Following an independent review by Resource Potentials Pty Ltd, Alien Metals is gearing up for an extensive exploration phase later this year. The Pinderi Hills Project, situated in the rich mining region of West Pilbara, spans 180 square kilometres and is known for its combination of platinum group metals (PGM), gold, silver, nickel-copper, and lithium targets.
Recent reverse circulation drilling at Pinderi Hills has shown promising results, leading the company to believe there is significant potential to expand their resource base and possibly develop a Tier 1 precious metals and nickel-copper project. The project’s proximity to major infrastructure and the mining-centric city of Karratha is a strategic advantage for further exploration and development.
Dr. Jayson Meyers from Resource Potentials, who has a history of successful discoveries in Western Australia, will oversee the exploration activities. Planned for the third quarter of 2024, these activities will begin with soil geochemical surveys focusing on nickel-copper and PGM trends, particularly Judy’s Reef. This follows encouraging drilling results at the historic Elizabeth Hill silver mine, leading Alien Metals to fast-track its development.
Additionally, Alien Metals has entered a joint venture with Errawarra Resources to focus on lithium exploration, allowing Alien to concentrate on their silver, PGM, and base metal targets at Pinderi Hills. The Hancock Iron Ore Project also sees progress with a newly granted mining lease and ongoing discussions about strategic funding options.
With plans for comprehensive soil surveys and potential new discoveries, Alien Metals is set for a busy year ahead, aiming to unlock significant value from their highly prospective projects.
