ARC Minerals unveils promising copper discovery in Zambia

Arc Minerals Ltd has struck copper again. The first assay results from its diamond drilling campaign in Zambia, in partnership with a subsidiary of Anglo American PLC, have confirmed near-surface mineralisation at a fresh target. Located 1.5 kilometres east of the existing oxide occurrence at Cheyeza, this discovery reinforces the region’s untapped potential.

The newly drilled mineralisation aligns with historic assays in both grade and thickness, according to Chair Nick von Schirnding. This consistency suggests strong continuity of copper deposits, adding further weight to Cheyeza’s exploration potential. With work now shifting to pinpoint additional drilling targets, Arc Minerals is aggressively mapping out the extent of sulphide mineralisation. This latest success strengthens confidence in the project’s long-term viability and underscores the strategic importance of its joint venture with Anglo American.

ARC Minerals Ltd (LON:ARCM) is a dynamic exploration and prospect generation company, forging partnerships with major mining companies, in its quest to discover and develop Tier 1 copper deposits.
