Cash or card? Big Issue vendors in Nottingham to offer contactless payment

Big Issue readers in Nottingham could soon buy the street magazine using contactless technology as part of a trial.

Nottingham has been chosen alongside London, Bath, Birmingham and Bristol to allow its vendors to take payments from cards.

The eventual aim is to roll the initiative out nationally with Big Issue saying it’s an effort to ‘improve financial inclusion’.
