Likewise Group reports impressive sales growth

Likewise Group, a distributor of floor coverings, will report continued sales growth at its annual general meeting. The company has seen overall sales revenue increase by 8.5 per cent in the first six months up to 18 June 2024. Within the Likewise branded businesses, sales have risen by 14.6 per cent, with Likewise Floors experiencing a remarkable 19.7 per cent increase.

Chief executive Tony Brewer is set to update shareholders at the AGM on Thursday 20 June. He acknowledges that while market conditions remain challenging, Likewise is confident about further overall sales increases during the traditionally busier second half of the year. Brewer emphasised the company’s commitment to investing in sales and marketing, anticipating an improved return in the coming years. He sees numerous opportunities within the UK flooring market and believes that these will ultimately lead to a much larger business in future years.

The board has recommended a final dividend of 0.25 pence, bringing the total dividend for 2023 to 0.35 pence. Brewer expressed gratitude on behalf of the board, thanking all management and staff, customers, suppliers, and shareholders for their ongoing contribution and support in the development of Likewise Group.
