A terminally ill mother who was misdiagnosed with a chest infection discovered she was actually suffering from stage four lung cancer, despite never having smoked in her life.
Kate Malvenan – who goes to the gym regularly – started experiencing pain in her hip, spine, back and shoulder but had assumed it was down to her fitness after joining a new training program.
