The developer of the huge Island Quarter scheme in Nottingham city centre says that it anticipates that planning permission for the next stage of project to be granted by the summer.
Conygar says it hopes to get the green light for two hotels, to be managed by Intercontinental Hotels Group, co-working space, 247 build to rent apartments plus an “extensive” food and beverage offering will be passed by Nottingham City Council’s planning committee soon.
The firm also said this morning (May 10) thatground preparation works have been carried out for the now fully consented 700-bed student accommodation scheme so that it can start work this summer and complete in good time for the September 2024 student intake.
