Nottingham Island Quarter developer asks for grant support

The developer of Nottingham’s huge Island Quarter project is asking the public to support an application for grant funding to help it “overcome the financial challenges” which have arisen due to the site’s complex industrial history.

The £650m development is taking place just off London Road, next to the canal, an area once inhabited by Boots.

Pictures taken recently show the site development progressing well, but many elements of the project cannot be implemented until essential works are complete.
