Time Finance launches innovative 12-month graduate recruitment programme

Time Finance is excited to unveil a new 12-month Fast Track Graduate Recruitment Programme, set to begin in mid-August. This initiative represents a pivotal advancement in the company’s long-term recruitment strategy. By investing in fresh talent, Time Finance aims to cultivate a pipeline of individuals eager to enhance their leadership skills, drive innovation, and support sustained growth.

CEO Ed Rimmer, who devised and leads the scheme, is particularly passionate about the programme. Having begun his own career in finance as a young graduate, Rimmer envisions the programme as a means to ensure a strong talent pool for the company’s future growth. It also aims to support existing colleagues who have significantly contributed to the industry and Time Finance.

Graduates will be primarily based in Manchester and Reading but will gain experience across all product lines. They will rotate through various offices and departments within Time Finance, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the business, including operations and credit teams. This approach ensures they receive a well-rounded experience and a solid start to their careers in sales and finance.

CEO Ed Rimmer expressed his commitment to the programme, emphasising the importance of bringing new talent into both the business and the industry. He highlighted the rigorous efforts put into creating a scheme that provides a robust foundation for their careers in finance and looks forward to welcoming the new graduates, who will receive support and mentoring from the entire Time Finance team.

HR Lead Holly Mapstone remarked that the programme is one of many initiatives by the Board and Senior Management to attract and nurture new talent. She noted Time Finance’s culture of investing in their people, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. The company is also exploring other routes to encourage new talent, including apprenticeship schemes, opportunities for school and college leavers, and broader training programmes aimed at creating a Training Academy to maintain a continuous talent pipeline for the present and future.

Time Finance provides or arranges funding solutions for over 11,000 UK businesses, helping them access the finance needed to achieve their growth objectives. The company’s extensive portfolio includes Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Business Loans, and Asset-Based Lending.

Time Finance’s new graduate programme not only showcases their commitment to nurturing talent but also underlines their strategic approach to ensuring long-term growth and innovation within the industry.
