Tirupati Graphite appoints Mr. Ameya Gogate as CFO

Tirupati Graphite plc (LON:TGR) has announced the promotion of Mr. Ameya Gogate to Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gogate is a Chartered Accountant who has held the position of Financial Controller with Tirupati since April 2019 and knows the business well. He replaces Mr. Kien Huynh, Chief Financial Officer since March 2019, who has now resigned in order to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Gogate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Pune, India and a Global MBA (Finance) degree from S. P. Jain School of Global Management in Sydney, Australia. Most recently, Mr. Gogate has earned a Certificate of CFO Program from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He was awarded a Chartered Accountant certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2014 and was awarded a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards in 2015 from the ACCA in London.

Tirupati has initiated the process to identify an additional Non-executive Director candidate, as well as a London-based Executive Director specialising in Finance and Project Development to provide a Board-level Executive presence in London.

The Company also announces that audited results for the 12 months ended 31 March 2022 are expected to be published on or before Monday 12 September 2022. The Company’s auditors have now been able to complete its visits to the operations in Madagascar following the easing of the Country’s travel restrictions.

This will support our engagement with shareholders and also our plans to establish downstream and advanced materials facilities in the UK, particularly our discussions with the relevant policy makers and governmental authorities.”
