Some of the UK’s biggest dealer groups have signed up to the new Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme to help customers buying electric cars.
Arnold Clark, Vertu, Lookers, Hendy and JCT 600 have outlets on the electric vehicle dealer accreditation scheme,which has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST).
Speaking at the launch in Westminster yesterday, Caffyns CEO Simon Caffyns said the scheme will help give customers the support they need when buying electric vehicles.
Vertu Motors Plc (LON:VTU) operates as an automotive retailer in the United Kingdom. The company sells new cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and used vehicles, as well as provides related aftersales services. It operates a chain of franchised motor dealerships under the Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors brand names.
