Wales STEM Awards 2024 to celebrate pioneers in science and innovation

On 17th October 2024, the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel in Cardiff will host a prestigious black-tie event recognising the key contributors to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) sectors in Wales. This event will highlight the exceptional efforts of organisations and individuals who are making significant strides in advancing the STEM agenda within the region.

The awards will honour those at the forefront of the sector in Wales, including businesses that are positively impacting the Welsh economy. Additionally, the event will recognise efforts to address the diversity gap and skills shortages in STEM fields while celebrating initiatives that inspire and raise aspirations among the next generation of STEM professionals.

One notable sponsor is EDX Medical Group plc, a company dedicated to the development of cutting-edge digital diagnostic products and services. These innovations are geared towards supporting personalised treatments for conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and infectious diseases.
