Conygar, the company behind the development of the Boots Island site in the Creative Quarter, has started work to clear the site ahead of construction beginning as soon as this summer. It’s now called The Island Quarter.
Robert Ware, chief executive of Conygar, said that the Section 106 agreements with Nottingham City Council were at an advanced stage and were agreed in principle. The scheme will be renamed The Island Quarter.
Ware said: “What we need to do now is have a big clear-up of the site to get it ready for development. We have 38 acres and we’ll be submitted a detailed planning application within the next few weeks.”
Conygar Investment Company PLC (LON:CIC) is an AIM quoted property investment and development group dealing primarily in UK property.
