There are lots of cool Christmas presents, but we would be hard pressed to think of something cooler than a new Koenigsegg Jesko. Though we were not fortunate enough to find a Jesko under our own Christmas tree, one lucky fellow in Singapore did get the ultimate hypercar in time for Christmas.
This delivery marks the fifteenth Jesko delivery worldwide, though it is notable for being the first right-hand drive Jesko delivered. Koenigsegg produces their flagship hypercar in both LHD and RHD configuration to accommodate all countries, but given the global LHD bias (which is reflected with better resale value for LHD cars), RHD Koenigseggs are a relative rarity. Unlike the largest RHD market, the United Kingdom, cars in Singapore must be RHD to be road registered. Thus, all four of the nation’s existing Koenigseggs are RHD, with this new Jesko becoming the fifth.
Paying tribute to the Swedish origin of the car, it has Imperial Blue striping. Imperial Blue is a rich, dark blue paint from the “Metallic” colour palette. The Apex Stripe, Slingshot Stripe, Slipstream Stripe, and Pebble Beach Stripes are all painted in this blue, as are the carbon-ceramic brake calipers. The “Flag Option” was also selected, displaying the Swedish colours at the base of the car on each side (behind the front wheel) at a cost of $6,700.
