The first assay results from Arc Minerals’ diamond drilling campaign at its Zambian joint venture with Anglo American’s subsidiary have confirmed near-surface copper mineralisation at a new target. Positioned 1.5 kilometres east of the existing oxide occurrence at Cheyeza, this discovery strengthens confidence in the area’s resource potential.
Chair Nick von Schirnding stated that the newly drilled mineralisation aligns with historic assay results in both grade and thickness. The company is now focused on identifying further drilling targets at Cheyeza to assess the full extent of the sulphide mineralisation. With promising results, Arc Minerals continues to unlock new opportunities in Zambia’s rich copper belt.
