Allergy season is in full swing across the Pacific Northwest. But it’s arrived at the same time as the coronavirus pandemic.
That’s led many to wonder if symptoms they’re experiencing are related to allergies, the coronavirus or something else?
“I think it’s a really normal feeling to have symptoms come on and wonder if you might have the coronavirus,” said Dr. Linda Cruz, chief medical officer for Providence Medical Group. “It’s at the forefront of all of our minds.”
It’s important to realize that every situation and person is unique. Whether it’s allergies, the coronavirus, or something else, different people may experience different symptoms. But Cruz did share some general guidelines.
