Biome Technologies, a business specialising in bioplastics and radio frequency technology, has appointed a new interim chief financial officer. Paul Elswood, a senior financial executive qualified by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has joined the company, which is based in Southampton.
Elswood previously held financial roles at AFC Energy Plc, Invinity Energy Systems Plc, and Hogg Robinson Group Plc.
The previous CFO, Rob Smith, has ceased his responsibilities and is no longer a director of the company with immediate effect.
The company has stated that it is continuing its search for a permanent CFO. In the interim, Elswood will work to ensure an effective transition of his responsibilities to his successor once a permanent candidate has been identified.
