Jubilee Metals is accelerating its copper production with a significant breakthrough at its Roan concentrator in Zambia. The company has begun processing high-grade copper feed material, doubling previous feed grades and setting the stage for a major boost in output. This strategic move reinforces Jubilee’s commitment to unlocking value from overlooked resources while securing a long-term supply of premium material.
The Roan concentrator is now processing feed material with copper assays exceeding 1.6%, surpassing previous grades and aligning with management’s ambitious production targets. With the facility capable of handling 45,000 tonnes of material per month, this increase in feed grade is expected to drive a substantial rise in copper unit production.
To sustain this growth, Jubilee has secured an initial 200,000 tonnes of high-grade copper feed, with options to expand both the allocation and long-term supply. This ensures a steady pipeline of premium material, reinforcing Jubilee’s position as a leader in sustainable metals recovery.
