Quadrise PLC, the London-based residual oil technology company, has announced a progressive collaboration with Cargill NV and MAC2 Solutions NV. The strategic alliance aims to produce MSAR and bioMSAR fuels for upcoming marine vessel trials. Quadrise shares witnessed a remarkable 23% surge to 2.57 pence in London following the announcement. The trials are scheduled post the installation and commissioning of Quadrise’s state-of-the-art equipment at MAC2’s facility in Antwerp, Belgium.
Decoding the Collaboration
The collaboration agreement between Quadrise, Cargill, and MAC2 involves the production of MSAR and bioMSAR fuels. Quadrise will contribute its cutting-edge technology, fuel production equipment, and adept personnel. Cargill, an agricultural services provider based in Mechelen, Belgium, will be responsible for the supply of feedstocks and managing the bunkering operations for the marine trials. MAC2, stationed in Antwerp, will extend its support by offering jetty space, utilities, permits, and additional services.
