Supercars parts maker Surface Transforms ‘comes of age’ and set to move into profit

Revenue at a Liverpool company which makes brake discs for supercars including Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin, held steady during its latest financial year but its pre-tax losses widened, new figures have revealed.

Surface Transforms, which manufactures next-generation carbon ceramic brake discs for the automotive and aircraft industries, has reported a revenue of £1.9m for the 12 months to December 31, 2020, the same as the total achieved in the prior year.
