Surface Transforms has appointed a new chief operating officer, who is set to leave his current company for the new role in early September.
The Liverpool-based manufacturer of carbon fibre-reinforced ceramic materials said Stephen Easton, UK managing director at SGL Carbon Ltd, will take over on September 4, after 16 years with the graphite and fibre manufacturing company.
Surface Transforms said Easton’s appointment marks a ‘further step’ towards strengthening its senior management team ‘to ensure the company successfully delivers its current manufacturing expansion plan and financial transformation into a high revenue growth and profitable business’.
