Surface Transforms, a Merseyside-based brake disc manufacturer, is on track to be profitable in the second half of 2023. This is due to their £290 million order book and a planned investment of £3.4 million.
The company’s success is attributed to its focus on high-performance brake discs, which are used in many luxury and sports cars. Surface Transforms has a strong relationship with Porsche, and also supplies brake discs to other car manufacturers such as Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin.
In addition to its order book, Surface Transforms has also recently raised £11 million in new funds. This money will be used to increase production capacity and invest in new technologies.
