The Koenigsegg Regera Uses Composites in Innovative Ways

The new Koenigsegg Regera is loaded with carbon fiber composites, including a carbon fiber intake manifold with optimized intake tracts, a body made from pre-impregnated carbon fiber/Kevlar and lightweight sandwich reinforcements, and carbon fiber wheels.

The new Koenigsegg Regera is designed to be a luxury alternative to Koenigsegg’s traditional lightweight, race-like road cars, but that doesn’t mean that this model isn’t using carbon fiber composites like its superpowered mega car siblings.

Surface Transforms plc (LON:SCE) are experts in the development and production of carbon-ceramic materials and the UK’s only manufacturer of carbon-ceramic brakes for automotive use.Koenigsegg nominated SCE as a tier one supplier on their Jesko car.
