Tilleke & Gibbins supports Valeura Energy in sale of oil assets

Tilleke & Gibbins’ Energy Industry Team, led by Supasit Boonsanong and Joseph Tomkiewicz, provided legal support to Valeura Energy Inc. in relation to a sale and purchase agreement with Mubadala Petroleum (Thailand) Holdings Limited for certain oil producing assets in the Gulf of Thailand. The team of attorneys assisted in the reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the agreement, as well as with the associated due diligence exercise.

This deal is a substantial expansion of Valeura’s presence in Thailand. The project will provide energy and jobs to Thailand and will be performed by a team with a long history of safe operations and strong environmental performance.
