Valeura outlines latest oil projects offshore Thailand

Valeura Energy has commissioned a new 3-km pipeline connecting production infrastructure on the Nong Yao Field offshore Thailand to a MOPU.

The MOPU, currently undergoing construction work, should mobilize early next year to start development drilling on an extension of the field, named Nong Yao C. Valeura aims to increase production from Nong Yao to about 11,000 bbl/d in mid-2024.

At the Manora oil field in offshore license G1/48 Valeura has brought onstream three new wells. The added production includes dry oil from bypassed oil downdip of producers in one of the deeper reservoir intervals, along with multiple other attic or bypassed accumulations in the shallower reservoirs.

Valeura Energy Inc (TSX:VLE) is an upstream oil & gas company, with a clear strategy to add value for shareholders. The Company has a strong balance sheet positioning it for potential inorganic growth opportunities in the near/medium-term, and substantial longer-term upside potential through an operated deep, tight gas play.
