Cerillion, a leading provider of BSS/OSS-as-a-Service solutions for the telecoms industry, has announced details of a new five-year contract with a prominent connectivity solutions provider in Southern Africa. First revealed in May, this agreement involves Cerillion deploying its pre-integrated BSS/OSS suite to support various B2B and B2C services, including 5G Standalone, fibre, and satellite, all within a single convergent solution.
The multi-service operator, with a network spanning seven countries in the region, is experiencing rapid growth and requires a unified BSS/OSS platform to consolidate its operations. This platform includes a robust digital engagement layer and comprehensive order-to-cash integration. Cerillion was chosen due to its proven ability to support multi-country operators with a fully convergent solution that manages all customer and service types on one platform.
Cerillion’s BSS/OSS suite is built on a common technology framework, adhering to industry standards such as TM Forum Open APIs, Open Digital Architecture, and the 3GPP charging specifications. This suite, combined with SaaS delivery, ensures rapid implementation and seamless integration, maintenance, and upgrades via Cerillion’s evergreen software programme. This guarantees that customers always have access to the latest product features.
Louis Hall, CEO of Cerillion, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “We are delighted to be working on this exciting new multi-country project in Southern Africa. Despite fierce competition and a rigorous selection process, the benefits of our pre-integrated product suite and the quality and flexibility of our delivery team have proven themselves again, providing the certainty of outcome the customer needs for this mission-critical transformation project.”
Cerillion’s collaboration with a major Southern African telecom operator marks a significant milestone, showcasing the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive, integrated solutions that meet the complex needs of multi-country operators. This contract underscores Cerillion’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the telecom industry.
