Jubilee invests $2.5m in Zambian ops

Jubilee Metals has injected US$2.5 million in its operations in Zambia to overcome infrastructural challenges.

The company is into treatment and metals recovery of mine tailings, waste, slag, slurry and other secondary materials generated from mining operations.

According to the latest market update, the company’s copper output in Zambia dropped by 10 percent in the previous six months to 1,149 tonnes due to countrywide power outages that resulted in prolonged downtimes and damage to plant and equipment.
