Leicester ranks fourth worst in the country for crashes

Leicester is one of the worst places in the UK for car accidents, according to a new study.

The city comes in fourth place, only behind London, Birmingham and Leeds, when it comes to both serious and non-serious crashes in the past ten years.

The study, by CarMoney, found that there were 6,399 car crashes within 2km of Leicester’s city centre, 701 of which were considered “significant”, while there were 5,698 “slight” accidents.
