Scotland’s urban hotspots for crashes

Scottish drivers are most likely to have an urban road accident in Glasgow’s Merchant City district.

Edinburgh’s city centre is the second most likely hotspot for collisions in town but both are reducing the number of accidents as road safety improves.

In Glasgow, there are five roads that have been identified as the most likely for drivers to experience a crash. The highest number of incidents occur on the B808, which makes up Bilsland Drive and Queen Margaret Drive.
