Tekmar Group has won a significant contract to supply its state-of-the-art cable protection system for a major offshore wind farm in the UK, valued at approximately $6.2 million. This deal underscores Tekmar’s reputation for delivering innovative solutions that safeguard critical offshore infrastructure.
The contract involves the design and supply of Tekmar’s advanced Generation 10 cable protection system (CPS) alongside essential ancillaries such as cable hang-off clamps. This cutting-edge system is engineered to enhance the longevity and efficiency of subsea cables, a crucial component in the offshore wind sector. The name of the client remains undisclosed, but the project is set to commence immediately, with final delivery scheduled for 2025.
