Cirencester Business Awards finalists unveiled at Redkite Law event

The finalists for this year’s Cirencester Business Awards were revealed at a special event hosted by the headline sponsor, Redkite Law. The gathering, held at Redkite’s new Thomas Street offices, saw attendees from across the Cotswolds, including prospective finalists, sponsors, judges, and friends.

Adam Vines, president of the town’s chamber, and Neil Walker, CEO of Redkite, addressed the guests. Walker also highlighted the significance of the event as the official launch of their new offices, following the acquisition of Davey Law last year. This merger has resulted in a firm with a £16 million turnover, 16 offices, and 242 staff.

Expressing gratitude to all who attended, Walker appreciated the contributions of local businesses that made the event successful. These included Roots & Seeds for catering, Kay Ransom for photography, Project Cakery for cupcakes, Capriccio Quartet for music, and Oops-a-Daisy for floral arrangements. Walker emphasised Redkite’s commitment to Cirencester’s business community and looked forward to the upcoming awards ceremony on 5 July.

Adam Vines also expressed his gratitude to the independent judges for their dedication and impartial insights, which were crucial in evaluating this year’s entries. He looked forward to celebrating the achievements of all nominees at the awards ceremony.

Shaun Pegler from Randall & Payne, one of the judges, remarked on the high standard of entries and the challenge of creating the shortlist. He eagerly anticipated the winners being announced.

The awards presentation will take place on Friday 5 July at the Royal Agricultural University’s Boutflour Hall, which can accommodate 120 guests. The evening will begin with welcome drinks at 7 pm, followed by a three-course meal, a charity raffle, and the awards ceremony, hosted by BBC Radio presenter Vernon Harwood.

Among the nominees for Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by McGills, are Rory Calvert (Cotswold Archaeology), Millie Hopkins (Hercules Site Services), and Louis Godwin (Mainstream Digital).
