Labour supply specialist, Hercules Site Services, has expressed confidence for the rest of the financial year, bolstered by continuing strong momentum observed in its first half. Headquartered in Cirencester, the company anticipates a revenue of over £47 million for the six months ending 31 March 2024, a significant increase from £37 million in the same period last year. For the full year ending 30 September 2024, Hercules is trading in line with market expectations.
Hercules reported growth across all income streams, each driven by individual factors and supported by substantial demand in the infrastructure sector.
Brusk Korkmaz, Chief Executive of Hercules Site Services, commented on the performance: “We have achieved further revenue growth in the first half of this financial year and secured several new contracts, including over £5 million in civil projects. We have also signed a significant new framework agreement with Costain. The integration of Future Build Recruitment, acquired in December 2023, is progressing well, with cross-selling and upselling opportunities emerging from our existing clients.”
Korkmaz also highlighted the strategic initiatives taken by Hercules:
“As the UK faces a skills shortage, the Hercules Construction Academy, successfully opened in January 2024, is gaining a reputation for delivering first-class training and upskilling workers across the industry. Located in the West Midlands, the academy provides us with a strategic foothold in the heart of England.”
“We are trading in line with expectations and, with the ongoing strong momentum in the infrastructure sector, including highways, energy, and water, we are looking forward to the rest of this financial year with confidence.”
Hercules Site Services is set to publish its interim results on 3 June 2024.
