Hercules Site Services secures £8 million investment

Hercules Site Services, a UK-based labour supply company focused on the infrastructure sector, has successfully raised approximately £8 million through a Placing and Subscription. The AIM-listed firm, known for leveraging technology in its operations, considers this fundraising a significant achievement in the current market climate.

In a company statement, Hercules highlighted the rarity of such large-scale fundraises in the UK markets recently, pointing to this success as a vote of confidence in the business. The company is in a strong position to benefit from several favourable developments, including the new Labour government’s policies on nuclear energy, planning reforms, and its ambitious goal to build 1.5 million homes during the new Parliament.

The capital raised came from a combination of institutional investors and two entrepreneurs. These funds are expected to bolster Hercules’ balance sheet, positioning the company to capitalise on emerging opportunities within the UK infrastructure and construction sectors. The firm aims to expand both through organic growth and selective acquisitions.

As part of this transaction, Hercules Real Estate also sold 6,060,606 Ordinary Shares to Wasdell Packaging.

This successful fundraising marks a significant step for Hercules Site Services as it seeks to further its expansion plans and take advantage of current and future opportunities within the UK’s growing infrastructure landscape.
