Hercules Site Services surpasses expectations with record-breaking £100m revenue milestone

Hercules Site Services has firmly established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the labour supply and construction services industry, closing 2024 with remarkable results. The company’s record-setting performance, underpinned by a 26% revenue surge to exceed £100m, signals a strong trajectory as it enters 2025 with ambitious plans for further growth.

Hercules’ Chief Executive, Brusk Korkmaz, attributed the stellar performance to the company’s robust pipeline and a strategic focus on organic growth. He expressed optimism about the year ahead, bolstered by a positive start to trading in Q1 and the successful equity raise of £8m. These funds provide the financial muscle to support Hercules’ targeted mergers and acquisitions strategy, further enhancing its competitive edge. Korkmaz emphasised that the company is well-positioned to capitalise on buoyant infrastructure sector prospects, setting the stage for another successful year.

A key strategic shift for Hercules is the planned divestment of its Suction Excavator division, a move that will streamline operations and focus on higher-performing segments. While the division represented just 5% of revenue, its discontinuation aligns with Hercules’ broader growth objectives. This decision comes as the company reports a 43% rise in adjusted pre-tax profits from continuing operations, reaching £2.6m, despite a loss of £1.3m in the Suction Excavators unit.

Hercules has also seen success in its efforts to diversify and expand. The first acquisition since its listing has enabled the company to establish a foothold in the white-collar and permanent recruitment markets, complementing its core blue-collar labour supply services. This cross-selling approach has been instrumental in sustaining an impressive 48% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years.

The Cirencester-based firm remains focused on delivering exceptional value to its clients while strategically positioning itself to harness opportunities in the ever-expanding infrastructure sector. Hercules’ commitment to operational excellence and market adaptability ensures it remains a key player in the industry.
